Have a clear framework for your coaching sessions. 


  • Review the previous week
    • what went great/wins
    • what were the challenges/not so great

  • Review the previous sessions agreed activities. 
    • Work through a focus sheet. 
    • What was the key shift last time? 
    • How have they applied that?  
    • What were the key goals/ goal?

  • Work through each goal:
    • Have they completed it? 
    • Were there any interferences? 
    • What have they overcome? 
    • What has been the outcome/result/benefit?

  • Next look at what have they tested and measured? What decisions need making as a result of that?

  • Discuss: What is the current number 1 priority for them right now both personally and in the business?

  • What is on the 90 day plan for this week?
    • Can they see any interferences to this being achieved?
    • What support/knowledge/accountability will they need?

  • What ARE THE KEY GOALS FOR THIS WEEK?
    • Agree actions.
    • Ask ‘what is your key learning from today?’

  • Wrap up the session, preferably early!!! 
    • "Great, I confirm our next session is …….and I look forward to seeing you then."
